Wow! That is so compact, and it has a turret! What sort of drivetrain does it have? And where does the flag go?

Ahh, one of the fabled "sideways" robots.

That looks like an amazingly space-efficient design. You have a harvesting system, a storage system, and a shooting system all tucked away into that bot, and a turret on top to boot!

Nice work.

Your not going to tell us about the drivetrain, are you. :( We will just have to find out for ourselves at a comp won't we. :( Also will you have a guard for your camera?

We know what kind of drive it is... ;)
But I don't think Wildstang would like us to tell you. :D

That is one intense little robot. I can't wait to see it in action, I'm sure it will function just as well as it looks too. As for the drive train even after taking the image down putting it through a lanczos filter blowing it up to 700% of its original size I still couldn't make out enough. It looks narrow, but the drive train has to be at least about 2-1/2" - 3" wide judging by the bumpers next to it. The wheel looks narrow so judging just by the front they could have tracks but probably not. In the back however they definitely have room for a swerve drive system. Which means they might have omnis in the front and stang swerve in the back.

Something similar to a previous year.

There will be an additional piece of lexan between the camera and the wheel.

See you all in a few weeks!

what was your drive train from last year?

Re: pic: Wildstang 2006

2005, IIRC, was swerve. 2003 and 2004 were swerve for sure.

Wasn't it 2002 that they had the swerve with drop-down tank track? Seems like with all the high-powered motors in the kit this year, you could pull it off.

On a completely unrelated note, how did y'all get matching balls?

Wait a second guys, can we expect anything less than awesome from 'Stang? This though... I really like this. It's definitely tied with all my favorite 111 bots already, all of them that is. :D
