We are not planning on doing that currently because the whole roller mechanism tilts outward to pick up balls, making it exit the starting envelope, rendering this "shooter" illegal.

Rule <S03>:
Shooter Mechanism must remain inside the ROBOT - Any mechanism used to throw balls must be
contained within the original 28” x 38” x 60”starting envelope of the ROBOT and must be shielded such
that the mechanism cannot make contact with other ROBOTs. A ROBOT that violates this rule will be
considered unsafe per <S01>.

Shooter as defined by Game Design Committee:
A shooter includes the mechanism that delivers the final dynamic impulse that ejects the ball from the robot, and any parts of the robot that contact the ball while and/or after this impulse is delivered. If your loading mechanism also ejects the ball from the robot, it would be considered a shooting mechanism.

Sorry, i edited my post after I thought about it some more.

We dont have shielding on it because we wont be using it for this purpose.

Not to post in a thread that hasn't been frequented in nearly a month or anything, but your Buzz XI looks pretty good. I have heard rumors that it plays pretty well also. Our Buzz 11 is doing quite well (much better than at the first regional) and is looking forward to hopfully seeing the other Buzz 11 at Nationals! :)
