Does it shoot as well as put balls in the corner goals?

No. We decided to keep a low CG and act as a strong feeder and defensive robot.

Good job. We will definitely miss you guys at Lone Star this year. Keep up the good work 456!

what did you use to attach the aluminum together? It looks like some kind of connector.

How did you cut that viking into the frame? That's really cool.

Also, how do you plan to un-stuck balls that get caught where the net meets the metal like in the picture? Just drive back and forth a bit to wiggle them loose?

WE used 80/20 quickframe, http://www.8020.net/Quick-Frame-1.asp . It worked great this year! We left the net loose until we get to the regionals but we will take zip ties and tighten it to the solid hopper top to prevent it from sagging.

It worked well I might say. I believe that the hopperbot/harvester was a great strategy for the game.

Thanks! We never had to work on the robot except for one tread.

Thats a nice robot, but you spent all that time making that viking cut-out and you've got no clear picture of it?

Also, how fast is your feed roller moving at? looks like it would be moving pretty fast. Is that motor mounted with part hanging out the side?
