Re-Vamped Anonobots
Overland High School proudly presents this year's 2006 robotics website. Totally different from last year's matrix theme, it takes on a grungy retro style. Any thoughts, comments, questions or advice? www.anonobots-1190.com

Re: Re-Vamped Anonobots
The black text doesn't really fit in with the rest of the theme, and seems a bit boring compared to the more flashy sidebar and banner at the top.
But WOW. I keep seeing awesome websites this year, and yours is no exception. Solid work! |

Re: Re-Vamped Anonobots
It's kind of difficult to for any color to fit nicely in my opinion because if the text is teh same yellowish color, the other parts of the site would distract attention from the content in the center, and with this year's color scheme it's hard to find a color that would comprimise. The color white is a very creative suggestion, I don't know if it would work. It might, but i'm not sure. I guess it depends and we'll have to test it out, but i'll keep in mind that the text should match the design of the site. Thank you for your inputs ^.^

Re: Re-Vamped Anonobots
Hey this is the webmaster for the anonobots. I kinda agreed that using that yellow for the text would be better, but the web mentor and the head of the robotics program here kinda made us keep it black. Oh well, guess it's like the real world where you have to meet your bosses demands.

Try putting teal text in a cream accent box.

Lol, yea, the glint is purdy spiffy, it was soccerajr's idea. =D **edit: we were thinking of re-vamping it again into a cleaner look next year, do you think we should re-vamp it again or just leave it? |
