Florida Regional hotels

1 week till Florida Regional... where are the teams staying?

Team 1345 will be at the Best Western on Colonial Drive.

.. I haven't seen a thread for Florida regional hotels. I apologize if there is already another thread just like this.

Ohhh nice Marriott I pass by there every day its next to pita pit # 1 source for pita's in the ucf area ( amazing must try!! )

Not sure where the best western is on colonial but odds are I've passed it hundreds of times and just never realized it was there.

I'll be staying in my house/1902's workshop/Dorm house/Woot. All comfy cozy in my bed. I kinda miss staying in hotels and getting to be mischievous and receiving awesome complaints from the front desk. Maybe I'll have a party at my crib, b.y.o.b. Bring Your Own Bot. heh

Unfortunately I'll be late to competition and won't get to help unpack the bot this year, Professors apparently think its funny to schedule exams at 7:30 in the morning the first day of competition, the day before spring break. :-(

Guess I was lucky enough that my professors missed that memo. I'll be staying in my wonderful dorm room on campus, but my old team (108) is staying at the Radisson on Alfaya, just like every year.

I would like to open my house up to a limited amount of college mentors that are looking for a cheap place to stay for the competition that are volunteering for either the event or for a team. I know this is a bit late and I'm sure travel plans are set, but if there are any students that are planning on coming that do not have committed plans and are on a college budget (aren't we all), come join the fun in Saint Cloud and the world's most comfy floor space!
