Free webhosting for FIRST teams!
 

Announcing... Team 1394, Mastery Robotics "The Juggernaut"'s free hosting service for FIRST teams. While visiting the websites of many FIRST teams over the past months, our web team has realized that many FIRST teams are either a.) hosting their websites through yahoo, tripod, or similar services, or b.) simply dont have a website! We find that our website is a valuable tool in attracting sponsors (and recognizing them), promoting team spirit and unity, making information available to all team members with great ease, explaining the robotics program and answering those incessant questions, such as "what exactly does this robotics club of yours do, anyways?"


Therefore, we are offering free server space, subdomains, and bandwidth to interested FIRST teams that need help! Our Webmaster(myself) has also volunteered his time and copy of dreamweaver to aid teams lacking the skills necessary to create a website, in the creation of their own, basic, website.

In the interest of spreading the knowledge of this service, I am bumping this thread!

Also, some stats: Right now we are willing to provide up to about 10gigs/month in bandwidth (may increase/decrease depending on the number of teams using this service), and 500mb in server space(see above parenthetical comment).

Also, we'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions for improvement in regards to this service.
