A question about New Jersey regional....
 

On the first website it says 1089 won the regional but I can't find it on Streamline. So how did they win if it's not posted on Streamline?

I haven't looked on streamline but teams were supposed to bring a copy of their animation on DVD to the regional. It could have been removed from streamline as well because the team has already been to a regional and won the award. But my guess is the team used the DVD of their animation at the regional not the streamline version.

1089 won the website award i know for sure, and spirit.. or.. sportsmanship.. I'm not sure.

So if 1089 didin't win....who did? I'm curious to see the winners of the each regional and I want to see the winning animation.

I e-mailed FIRST on the matter yesterday. It was 1382, the Tribotec team. Their animation was outstanding!!

I never got to see it, fortunately Mike dled it and I get to see it next time I'm there... Anyone have a downloadable low quality of the animation, very impatient I am.

Good thing we still have a chance in Vegas, yet 1595 and 8 are really going to give us a run for our money. In fact, if we don't win it might be for the best, it will then make me work and train our guys harder and for larger lengths of time. 6 hours a Saturday isn’t asking too much is it? Heres to next year!

Forget all that I just sat through the download. Just curious I don't run 3DSM8 well I run the demo but I mainly run 3DSM7, what tool did they use to make that? Was it simply modified Ink & Paint or was it something entirely new? The judges said it used some kind of new technique.

well, we got some problems posting the animation to the streamline, the file was corrupt, so we emailed Autodesk and in the peer judge was used the animation downloaded from the website...
