what kind of engineer...

designed the human body?

this is a joke my brother told me the other day and i thought it was pretty funny and cd seemed like a good place to put it.

so...any guesses? you need the reason for it too.

i've heard it, but can't remember. hmmmm...

I could comment but I don't think I would say anything appropriate so I'll stick with I don't know.

EddieMcD 31-07-2001 21:34

For lack of a better guess, I'm going with a Biological Engineer.

mike o'leary 01-08-2001 21:53

only a civil engineer would put a sewage pipe line under a playground

Carolyn Duncan 01-08-2001 21:57

That's gross! Yet I will prolly repeat it when I start telling jokes and they take a turn for the worst.

mike o'leary 01-08-2001 21:58

it is isnt it? i completely forgot it was dirty when i posted it before...then i started posting the answer and was like uh-oh that dirty isnt it. then i decided i was committed to it anyways.

Carolyn Duncan 02-08-2001 16:36

Riight. You expect us to believe that?
j/k
I know how that goes, I've done it before.

A. Leese 02-08-2001 16:46

There's another version of that joke that I've heard before..but I won't repeat it. I tend to not like to be vulgar :D

~Angela who still remembers that joke from Bicentennial Man

Carolyn Duncan 02-08-2001 16:54

Well then, why bring it up?
j/k
I got the point with the reference to Bicentenial Man.

mike o'leary 02-08-2001 19:13

<---hasnt seen bicentenial man...doesnt get the reference

Carolyn Duncan 02-08-2001 19:17

Have you seen Mallrats, Mike? There's a good joke at the beginning of that one for you.

mike o'leary 02-08-2001 19:20

im a very big fan of all kevin smith movies. especially the ones based i nj (clerks, mallrats, chasing amy, dogma, and soon jay and silent bob strike back)

After seeeing Mallrats I haven't been able to eat chocolate covered pretzels.

mike o'leary 02-08-2001 21:47

hehehe...he licked his fingers!

have you seen the other kevin smith movies?

Carolyn Duncan 02-08-2001 23:23

No. Everytime I or someone else I know rents them I don't get to see them. Something always comes up. It gets really annoying sometimes.

A. Leese 02-08-2001 23:46

I've never seen any of those movies..which is amazing, considering many of the people in SPAM as well as on my school's academic team love them. Maybe I'll have to borrow them from G or something..

~Angela

Carolyn Duncan 02-08-2001 23:49

That would be a good idea. But don't be like me, see them all and in order.

mike o'leary 03-08-2001 16:09

order doesnt matter all that much...but definately see them. and then watch them some more. they just get better cuz you pick up more and more jokes. you have to watch both the backgroup and foreground carefully cuz they pack the jokes in everywhere. and things from the other movies appear in the various movies, especially in the background. but if you do want to watch them in order the order is clerks, mallrats, chasing amy, dogma, and soon: jay and silent bob strike back. also you can get a dvd with all 6 episodes of clerks (which was made into a cartoon for tv...only 2 episodes were ever aired. it was a major bomb, but the episodes are hilarious).

Carolyn Duncan 03-08-2001 16:31

I saw it on tv and thought it was hilarious. That just goes to show what kind of person I am.

mike o'leary 03-08-2001 18:28

it was indeed...i guess some people just have no taste

Carolyn Duncan 03-08-2001 23:17

OUCH! That hurt, Mike.
