I don't know, they usually play it before the final rounds. Its definitely one of those "tense you up" songs.

You gotta move that bot from it's sweet spot or they will kill you!

They were doing it for a while, and then they just drove away...and left it wide open.

WHen we battled the Sparx and DIvision by Zero in the last match we knew if either of them got free they would score and all they needed was a second and three ball to seal the deal. You can't let up on bots like that for 1 second or they can do serious damage.

One point off from having to do a replay...the field crew got lucky on that one!

If I recall correctly when I was down at SVR on thursday and friday, they were experimenting on the practice field in order to be able to shoot from the ground and not the ramp which is what they just did. I suspected a trump card in their hand.

While their strategy is successful, they are the only high scorer on their team which can lead to some problems if 254's robot was ever damaged.

That is correct, if you watched the WMR feed, you would see how 111 and the whole alliance just stormed 71, yes they got away but did not do damage because they had to go to the other side of the field to score. so by the time the made it they were once again bombed by the alliance and that accounted for their first loss in a finals.

They have been doing that, but I've never seen them take a shot longer than 7 ft.

ouch 2 points!!!!!!!! ony 1 ball in the center goal by poofs and they would have won!

Re: 2006 Silicon Valley Regional

Wow, Poofs lose 51-53 in a thriller. Blue manged to keep them far enough away that all their shots hit the light.
