Eric

We're over that already (or at least I am)... what's the point in getting mad about small things like that anyway? Of course, I wasn't too thrilled in the moment...

Since I didn't completely answer the question in the first place:
The "lean back" feature of the robot was added around week 4-5, due to Rule S03: the shooting mechanism cannot leave the 28" by 38" footprint. Well... we decided to add a four-bar linkage system, actuated by a 2"-stroke pneumatic, to pull the shooter into the 28x38 footprint and avoid violating rule S03.
As a matter of fact, we were warned today by the head ref that we should be cautious about violating rules, but we had already made several software stops and adjustments to make sure we avoid breaking said rules.
Of course, this is not the first time we've been asked about this feature... and I'm sure it won't be the last.

So that was a great regional! I'm exhausted.

Just wanted to say good job to all the teams.

The food was great in the volunteer room.

The robots were all amazing.

The teams were all gracious.

Everyone seemed to be in a good mood for a good part of the regional.

Loved it.

Haha, the funny thing is, you guys lost to not John Guckenberger (Sophmore) but the 8th grade little brother of John Guckenberger. Hahaha.
