I am sorry...

My recent behavior in the "2006 game penalties" thread was somewhat antagonistic, and looking at my recent rep box, I can now realize that... I did not post what I posted to make people angry; I posted it because I believed that my robot couldn't break that specific rule. I admit now that I am not a ref and therefore that is not my call... This whole thing got blown out of proportion, and I am sorry for that, as I was the main contributor to the argument. I am not apologizing for my original post/Idea, I am apologizing for the thread turning into what it did, and I am apologizing for being part of turning it into that. Once again... I am sorry for anybody’s feelings that I may have hurt, or anybody that I could have offended.

I would, however, still like to take a Chief Delphi vacation... I let three or four little red dots get the best of me, and that shouldn't happen. Chief Delphi is just a website about a game... and that is it, I have been putting way too much time and emotion into it. One more time... I AM SORRY for any ill-emotion I may have caused you. I must have offended someone quite a bit to have been told that I do not belong in FIRST...

Thanks for the ego-check

Team 306 Capt/Driver

P.S. This post is not meant to have ANY sarcasm or ego in it, and isn't being posted because my team got a hold of me... I am doing it of my own free will, because I am tired of being angry because of a game.

Although I am unfamiliar with the reason for this apology, I do know it takes an amazing amount of maturity to swallow your pride and make a public apology. Many adults would be unable to do it! WTG :)

I certainly applaud you Cory. Just as TubaMorg said, it takes a lot to do what you did. Apology accepted, thanks. Keep working hard on those robots!

Stay with Chief Delphi. Please?

If you don't you won't see news about the webhug...and that is not a party to be missed.

Cody,

Like Adam and TubaMorg have said, it taks a lot of courage, character and respect to apologized. This is a moment of GP to all members on CD to learn from. I 100% applaud all your efforts and can't wait to see you and your team compete against at the Philadelphia Regional.

Good LucK!

Good Luck!

I am also not sure what you are apologizing about, but speaking as someone that has had to apologize for my team members a few times, I have to say that CD people are very kind, forgiving and generally slow to anger.

Please stay with us. You will be forgiven.

It looks like we won't need to be "giving it" to Cody C again. ;) But it may take time to get it back. So stick around; you might enjoy it.
