Teams are not allowed to sell or give out anything that competes with the venues revenues.

I WORKED MY BUTT OFF!!!! So many teams needed parts and machining. FIRST put me and my friend in charge of the Machine Shop since we did Robot FIRST Aid. At least i like helping teams and that im not forced to. Lol. it feels really good to know that other people are having fun and learning because you helped them. GOOD LUCK TOMORROW EVERYONE!!!!

ATTENTION!

All teams who do not have a 2006 Los Angeles regional inspection sticker on your robot (in otherwords, you have not completed inspection) please see the inspection table FIRST THING IN THE MORNING.

You must pass inspection in full before you will be allowed on the field. There are several teams who still have some items to finish up. If you have already passed inspection, ask your pit neighbors if they have passed inspection and if not, tell them they need to right away.

Thanks.

The FIRST site has no updates from the regional... Can anyone who is at the regional fill the rest of us in?

I'll be going up there tomorrow to cheer on some of the other Team San Diego teams competing.

Time for a rant:
I know that FIRST is mostly driven by volunteers and is a non-profit organization but it makes me wonder if there is anyone there who actually knows how to use a computer.
This is the second year not a shred of official information has not been released from this regional. Not one word! That is a great disservice to FIRST! Maybe they don't think it's important because only the people there need to know but I'm sure the rest of FIRST would like to know. If from the curiosity factor of knowing what FIRST team has done what to scouting information that teams use to find out what teams to work with.
This isn't some off season competition being run out of a high school gym this is supposed to be a top of the line event. This isn't ungraciously professional or whatever (a rapidly getting very tired term) it's just unprofessional period.
I don't know who is running this event but I challenge you to show a little pride and at least do your part to the FIRST community and get the information out to to us. We deserve to know what is going on out there!

This is also the second year in the same venue that doesn't (presumably) have internet access.
