Regionals

What regionals do Dean, Woody, and Dave usually attend? I don't think I have ever seen any of them at SBPLI Long Island.

Re: Regionals

The only competition that they always attend is the Championships. Dave is pretty much guaranteed at any regional where 116 is competing, but the others just pop in and out.

I think they appear at the new regionals to help get them started with a "royal blessing".

Dean and Woody attended UTC this year because it was the first VEX regional.

I think you mean the first FRC Regional that had a Vex Challenge also. There were other Vex Regionals before UTC (4 to be exact).

Dean is always (or at least usually) at BAE on Saturday (it is in Manchester, after all) :)

I don't recall any of them being at Palmetto 2004.

But to answer the original post, the answer is: It depends. Woodie was at UCF last year but not this year, Dave's almost always at the same regional as his team (although he may be getting his team 0000 on), and I seem to have had no luck when it comes to seeing Dean other than at the Championship or the festivities around Kickoff in Manchester.

But hey, you have a three in seven chance of spotting either Dean, Woodie, or Dave (assuming you don't have two of them at one event). And if all else fails, I hear there's a robot competition going on at these things. ;)

Re: Regionals

In 2004 Dean came to STL (Sat.) In 2005 Dave was here. And in December 2005 Dean and Dave both came to our FVC/FLL event -- Dean was quite a sensation when he spoke in the pits, and Dave gave the closing ceremony speech with pictures from Mars.

I don't think Woody has been to STL recently.

[The only competition that they always attend is the Championships.] That's not totally true. Although I've never seen dave of woody at a competition which I know dave attends but I'm not sure about woody, I have seen Dean at Pittsburgh and Cleveland.

Beth stated always attends. It is true that Woodie and Dean attend regionals but they have always attended Championships.

Each year I've been to VCU, one of the three has been there for multiple days. I recall last year that Dave and Woody were there for two days.
