111 took a timeout because they were hit at the end of match 1 and it bent their wheelie bar. Their accumulater was bent a little, and then broke the last round.

I just can't beleive the round where they scored 20 from 111 and 1625 during autonomous had to be restarted, that really sucked.

Tell me about it. We had to reatart the match twice. They replaced a scoring computer after our 2nd false start, and then it worked only a little better after that. I hope they figure this out before Atlanta.

I'm going to second that for your sake. It is a huge hinderance to big scorers like yourself and the Martian twins to be penalized with a restart every time you rack up points in auton mode. Congratulations on the win, nonetheless - I can't wait to see what you guys bring to Atlanta!

After the computer replacement, Mark Koors instructed the guys with the "pokey-pokey sticks" to push the balls down into the 3 point goal tubes at a slower rate. This seemed to work. Well... it was either the computer replacement OR the slower speed of ball feeding. Possibly, if the Microswitch sensors above the ball tubes see a sequence of balls too quickly, the system can't handle it.

That was my best guess. I figure that the sensors probably weren't prepared for so many balls at once. It didn't seem to be a problem when we hit 1625 in autonomous and only the Wildstang balls went in. Perhaps there is a newer version of these sensors available that can handle mass capacity?

I think it must be just field-to-field variation. At Great Lakes the NiagraFIRST triplets (and others, like 469) routinely scored balls this quickly with less problems. Hopefully they do work the bugs out before Atlanta though otherwise the finals there will take forever!

Is there an archive of the webcast available?
