Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
Anyone else just get sound and no video?
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
Low data through, was working fine, now sound and no pic, and just now no sound.
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
yup same here. no video just sound.
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
Sorry guys, we seem to be having a bandwidth problem with the network feed here in the arena. It's fine for a while and then cuts out, which seems to cause problems with the video stream. I'm not sure what I can do about it - if it doesn't get better I'll have to lower the bitrate.
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
Anyone watching? Still having problems or is it OK now?

It sounds exciting though... |
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
We're watching the feed here and the video is fine... maybe try reconnecting if you're not getting video?
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
Webcast has been going perfect for me all morning. Excellent stuff.
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast

Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
It's wroking pretty well for me, thanks guys!
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
Working good here too!! Thanks.
Anybody want to guess who #70 (#1 seed) picks for their first alliance partner? 111 who is the #2 seed or 494, their twin, the #5 seed |
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
That's a tough one!
They might go with 494, leaving 111 to be with 93. |
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
I figured that too..and we were right... Going to be tough eliminations!!

#1 seed - 70, 494, 1781
#2 seed - 111, 1625, 1816 #3 seed - 93, 1504, 1754 #4 seed - 1714, 537, 1091 #5 seed - 1739, 706, 1103 #6 seed - 269, 1108, 81 #7 seed - 525, 1732,862 #8 seed - 1864, 1716, 1675 (I may have screwed up the numbers a tiny bit because I have really bad resolution right now, my mom was on the other computer reading some stuff off for me so I could try to compile this) |
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
Gonna be some toughhhhh finals, excited to watch.
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
These field problems are getting to be silly. It's a joke.
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
I have noticed around 90% of the time it is the BLUE side too.
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
is it just me or others are having problem too with sound and the view?
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
its really choppy for me too, so if someone has a crisp view, can you please keep us uptodate with the results. thanks
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
I've been getting a low frame rate (about 1 per second) but good sound and high quality images for the ones that make it.
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
Same thing noticed...
|
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
As Dave had said before:
"Sorry guys, we seem to be having a bandwidth problem with the network feed here in the arena. It's fine for a while and then cuts out, which seems to cause problems with the video stream. I'm not sure what I can do about it - if it doesn't get better I'll have to lower the bitrate." So the quality isn't going to be as good and thus it looks choppy. Better than nothing. |
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
What is with like all the field problems? lol Its really wierd...ive been in and out of the house all day today..and everytime i turn on the webcast...WildStang is on competing and then their is always a field problem. lol is it bad luck? lol am i bad luck?? lol

Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
I noticed that, and I couldn't help but laughing somewhat, cause it happens a lot... and it's starting to get the point where it's funny, but it isn't. Besides... the dance party on the field is always fun to watch =D

Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
I restarted the encoder, someone watching at home in Schaumburg reported improvement. Let me know if it looks better.

Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
#1 seed - 70, 494, 1781 Finalists
#2 seed - 111, 1625, 1816 Winners #3 seed - 93, 1504, 1754 #4 seed - 1714, 537, 1091 #5 seed - 1739, 706, 1103 #6 seed - 269, 1108, 81 #7 seed - 525, 1732,862 #8 seed - 1864, 1716, 1675 Good job to all the teams though, exciting matches. |
Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
111 took a timeout because they were hit at the end of match 1 and it bent their wheelie bar. Their accumulater was bent a little, and then broke the last round.
I just can't beleive the round where they scored 20 from 111 and 1625 during autonomous had to be restarted, that really sucked. |

After the computer replacement, Mark Koors instructed the guys with the "pokey-pokey sticks" to push the balls down into the 3 point goal tubes at a slower rate. This seemed to work. Well... it was either the computer replacement OR the slower speed of ball feeding. Possibly, if the Microswitch sensors above the ball tubes see a sequence of balls too quickly, the system can't handle it. Andy B. |

Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
I think it must be just field-to-field variation. At Great Lakes the NiagraFIRST triplets (and others, like 469) routinely scored balls this quickly with less problems. Hopefully they do work the bugs out before Atlanta though otherwise the finals there will take forever!

Re: Wisconsin Regional webcast
Is there an archive of the webcast available?
