Championship wait list
 

The email from FIRST was rather vague concerning the wait list. We are a 4th year team located in Atlanta who have never been the that nationals. We would really like to attend this once before most of us graduate this year.

Have any of you ever qualified through this wait list before? We have some big dreams resting on it and it would be nice to know how much hope we have.

We don't have the money yet, but are working frantically to raise it. Hopefully we will succeed. If not, it will go toward funding next year's entry. The team next year will need all the help they can get as pretty much all of our key team members including myslelf will be graduating.

293 did this successfully last year, and we are trying to do the same this year. I spent Saturday afternoon watching the results come in from the last week of regionals, rooting for teams that were already competing in nationals.

Any teams heard anything yet? If we havn't heard anything at this point should we assume we arn't going to the championships. FIRST sent us an email informing us we were on the wait list on 3/24. We are all very eager.

It looks like 1139 is on the pending list as of today. Congrats, good luck with fundraising, and see you in Atlanta!
