2. No, no: Proximity to Dunkin Donuts may defeat one's desire to consume Krispy Kremes. (Although, admittedly, it may increase it as well).

To put it on the record: Dunkin Donuts will never defeat Krispy Kremes. (For starters, they don't sell DDs hot!!)
