I have a few cars I'd like to own one day. Maybe odd picks, but I like them.

Re: Cars
First I'd start out with the 1967 Shelby Cobra GT500E, as seen in Gone in 60 seconds, also the Porsche Carerra GT is pretty amazing too. Then to finish it off, the Lamborghini Murcielago. There are so many more, but I kept it to 3 for this post.

Re: Cars
At the top of my list is a 2001 BMW 740iL, followed by a BMW Z8. Exceptional design and engineering.

Re: Cars
A Lotus Espirit
or a 1995 Mitsbishi Eclipse ![]() |
Re: Cars
As a reasonable car, I'll have to add the Lotus Exige, it's cheap for the quality that you recieve. Plus with it's super light carbon fiber body the little 4 cylinder it has is just right.

Re: Cars
I'd like one of these. With out the decals, of course.
Not sure exactly what class it would get in though. Wonder what the SCAA has to say about it... ![]() |

Re: Cars
The McLaren F1 is a beast of a car. During my time in Oxford this summer I saw one just on the street. I think I actually flipped out when I saw it! It makes for an interesting story that you saw a million dollar hypercar just on the street one day. It also makes a nice background for my phone. :D

Re: Cars
'68 Ford Mustang! With a nice navy blue paint job. Then Bust out a new sound system (while keeping the nostalgic look), and the only i can see missing is me!

Re: Cars
Let's here it from all the GM sponsored teams!!! (Time for that sponsorship to pay off) There is NO DOUBT. The Corvette Z06 is one of the finest production sports cars on the planet.....Here is one of many, many reviews that all say the same thing.....
Endowed with more of everything that makes a Corvette yummy, and officially recognized as the fastest and most powerful production car that General Motors has ever produced, the new 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 makes 500 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 475 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,800 rpm from a 7.0-liter, hand-built, LS7 V8 that is based on the standard Corvette's LS2 6.0-liter motor. That's a smidge more than 427 cubic inches, for all you Oldie Oldersons, and you should also know that the majority of the motor's twist comes online at 1,600 rpm. Whammy, blammy, yowee, zowee! With a redline north of 7,000 rpm, a six-speed manual transmission, three-inch diameter exhaust pipes, and a curb weight of 3,130 pounds, the 2006 Chevy Corvette Z06 is equipped with plenty of firepower to produce sprints to 60 mph in a blistering 3.7 seconds, making it directly competitive with not only the Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe but a variety of exotic machinery priced well into triple digits. Chevrolet predicts that 100 mph will arrive before the eight-second mark, and that the Z06 will cover the quarter-mile in little more than 11 seconds on the way to a top speed that exceeds 190 mph. A dry-sump oiling system ensures vital fluid flow even at cornering forces exceeding 1 g. |
