I agree with you fully on that. Well, it's not all soap-opera. There is a lot of athleticism in there. Plus the choreography (sp?) is very good.
Ant time the wrestlers speak it's soap opera "I'm gonna shine it up, turn it sideways..." "I just don't know how you could have done this... The athleticism is there too but there are steroids and tons oof protein shakes choreography,... It's the same ting as screen directions. Cry, laugh, look this way, move here, duck at this point, arm up now, ... See what I mean?

No, I mean in the fights themselves. That, and I don't think Vince McMahon is very fond of steroids (I believe he fired someone for using them).

He may have fired one person but it might have been a stunt. You never know. But think about some of the guys. Take Stone Cold for example, in the early 90's he was Stunning Steve who weighed less than 250 ( barely 200 I think) it's imposible for him to have bulked up that much with just creotine and lifting... And the choreography you were talking about really is the same as the stage directions in soaps.

EddieMcD 07-08-2001 18:37

It wasn't a stunt. It wasn't even on TV. He actually fired the person.

And I think you are a bit off on Stone Cold's old weight, but it is possible to gain that much muscle in 5 years. 5 years is a long time.

Carolyn Duncan 07-08-2001 23:53

With all the beer he drinks it would be hard to be in that good of shape without something helping him out. Now, I know I'm out dated in my info but Randy Savage is a steroid user. Last thing I heard he was still wrestling. I don't really know. Wrestling isn't really me forte.

i usta watch WWF all the time but it got boring and repetitive. the same stuff would happen all the time. so i quit waching it. I was also Eddie's age at the time.

I can't wait to see Dwaine Johnson (The Rock) in some movie's. He is a great actor.

Have you seen The Mummy Returns?

Nope. I heard it wasn't that good so I didn't waste my time and money.

EddieMcD 09-08-2001 12:43

Who told you that?

It was probably one of the most entertaining popcorn movies of the summer.

As for the rocks acting. . .well, he didn't have any lines :) He just snarled and growled a bunch in front of blue screen, and the pasted an image map of his head onto a CG character.

Look for him next summer in The Mummy's prequel, The Scorpion King.

Everyone I know who saw it, 20-25 people. The first one was good in the way things were portrayed but not in much of the acting.

So much for playlists?
