Re: Pure Shooters -- 2006 Hall of Fame

The requirement seems to be 25 or more points in 5 seconds. In that case Team 830 The Rat Pack scored 36 points in their second quarter finals match at the Waterloo regional in less than 5 seconds.

3Pt. Shooters
968 - The match is GONE if they get right under the center goal on the ramp
599 - Changed thier shooter now they are even better than before!

1pt. Shooters
1006 - Awesome 'bot with great capabilities other than scoreing (defense, getting on ramp, etc...)
1759 - Rookie team but killer 'bot

25-won nj and then went to vegas took over
11-finally worked the bugs out and was dominant in palmetto(70+ points in the playoffs)

Heh, winnovation :) I was just about to say you guys... heh...

1625 Winnovation (Not sure of the allaince bots) had a game 90 to 8 one of the games. Winnovation was pretty threatening at St. Louis Regional.

and 1288, Raven Robotics, if you leave them alone for a few seconds it'll come back to haunt you. We played then and were ahead by about 20 points and in the last few seconds while everyone was getting on the ramp, they came over and shot about 7-8 balls in a row winning them the game bye about 8 points. It was pretty cool.

1625 + 111 = NASTY! (If you're on the opposing alliance :) )

At Sac 1351 (TKO) and 701 (Robovikes) were excellent shooters and could unload very quickly.

365 (Moe) is amazing if they get on the ramp.

135 Penn Robotics
They were tearing it up during qualifications at BMR, once they got in position if their wasn't defense on them they would tear it up
85 B.O.B
A threat from multiple locations, definately one of the best teams to come out of the Midwest this year
27
Good range, good accuracy, great shooter
322
This is a low goal scoring robot, but they were really fast and could pick up 10+ balls and dump them in the low goal while the top shooters were still filling up and getting into position.
1501
another good shooter that really did some damage at boilermaker
74
When they unloaded the speed with which they shot was awesome, they were pretty accurate most of the time as well which made them all the more intimidating

Apperently it worked, and we were usually scoring 30 points in autonomous, plus the extra 10. Thanks to tech tigers for doing a great job defending us in autonomous.

All the research I've been reading about, 25 is the dominate team this year. Can't wait to face them at nationals, for a rematch of New Jersey.

Congrats to everyone who competed at the Palmetto Regional.
