Team 1574 MisCar

This is one of the winning robot in the Israeli regional.
This robot belongs to team #1574 from Misgav High School

It collects balls from both sides.
It was the only robot at the Israeli Regional that could collect balls from both sides, back and front. The balls enter from both sides and get to the elevator.

In the elevator are located two air cylinders. One at the bottom and one at the middle. When the robot is in collection mode, The cylinder at the middle is opened and the cylinder at the bottom is closed, so balls can enter the red canals at the middle of the robot, and there they are stored.

when we want to shoot balls, the cylinder at the bottom is opened and the cylinder at the middle is closed, so balls can climb up to the canon.

We can also shoot to the lower goal by reversing the elevator, so balls are kicked down instead of getting up.

In the autonomous mode we can shoot all 10 balls to the lower goal or to shoot about 3-5 balls to the upper goal

In the Israeli Regional we won the First place along with 2 Other teams.

We also won the Radioshack in Control award for being most fuctional robot.
Another award we won the the Kleiner......Enterpreneurship award and a mentor from our team, Adi Idan, won the Woodie Flowers Award for being the best mentor!

In the link is a picture of the robot
