Team 555 could be team information... call 555-team for complete details... or something like that...

The Pascack Pi-oneers is Team 1676
Pi Hi Samurai (Team 1015)

well 1596 ..now that i think about it ... 15 = 9 + 6 . .neat..

777 would be cool, JACKPOT! . .but unfortunately their is none

I also thought that team 1492 would be a good number... Team Discovery although I know many people who would disagree.

Not to get too far off topic, but does anyone remember the Abbott & Costello routine, where 7 x 13 = 28? I can prove it to you two different ways...

LOL There is a story behind this reasoning.
I was in NYC in 2005, and someone said (about your team when we asked about 555) "Oh, Triple Nickel"? And it stuck. You have to use that!!! It makes so much sense, and rolls right off the tongue.
Now, every time we talk about your team, we refer to you as Triple Nickle anyways, so just don't delay the inevitable.. Change it now!!! LOL

Haha, yeah... I remember that. It is very catchy and a lot better than naming it after a pizza deal.

PS. yay! Someone talks about our team!!

Team 1776 was our pit neighbor at the St. Louis Regionals.
They had white wigs on, like people from 1776 would have worn. They looked itchy. I was hoping that their robot was going to be red/white/blue, but it wasn't.

I suggested that 1929 (the MHS team girls team) call themselves "The Crash" but they thought it'd bring them bad luck...

My team 528 has tried so hard to come up with a team name playing off the numbers but couldnt find anything. We are the Persuaders due to the fact that one of our mentors has a huge wrench that he called the Persuader so we just took that name. But if anyone can think of any cool ways to play off 528 go for it.

I'm not entirely sure about a name but you could use something like "528..Ain't we great?" as a motto.

Team 1676 are the Pi-oneers. I actually know the story behind the name. It's really interesting. Most of them wish their number was 314 or something similar. Nowhere near it but, hey, they still have a cool name and mascot! (At least I think so.)

What's the story? I'd be interested to hear.

Every year we say "hey, we should make a name" and every year we end up remaining Montclair Robotics (technically we're the Montclair Mounties - the name of our football team).

If anyone has any ideas as to a nice, creative name for 555 I'd love to hear them! (And I'm sure many of you do!)

We could always be "The Dominos Pizza 555 Deal Team"...

I know that 1555 out of Monon, IN is Team Pulse - I can only assume referencing the 555 timer.
