I'll be headed off to Winthrop Univeristy in Rock Hill, SC. I plan to double major in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Yup, so I'm staying in state and going to Texas A&M because that's all I can afford without taking out a billion dollars in loans. But I don't mind, the campus is beautiful, the people are really really nice, and the city isn't huge. I love the atmosphere in College Station. As of now I'm going to be majoring in microbiology, but they also have biomedical engineering, which really interests me too.

as of right now, i'm taking a year off and i might go to college after that. college isn't really for me, but i'll probably actually realize i'll die without it. i'm gonna see if i can help out with my team next year, otherwise i'll just be hanging out and working.

Western New England College for Mechanical Engineering. It's a fairly small campus located in Springfield, mass with a great Engineering program. I loved the school ever since I set foot on campus.

Congratulations to all of you graduating this year! Just curious, is anyone (like here at CD) keeping track of where all the grads are going, and whether FIRST influenced their choices?

This is the concrete data that all of us out there trying to get $$ for FIRST activities really need. To show that FIRST does make a difference (we know it does, but we need to prove it to others!).

FIRST hasn't influenced my college choice but it has influenced my prospective major choice (from chemE/physicsE/biomedE to EECS or MechE). I've wanted to go to an institute of technology since elementary school...

A little off-topic: FIRST commissioned a study a few years ago aimed at getting some data of this type. I got a copy of the summary a few months ago. It did not include a copyright marking, so I guess it's OK to distribute it here.

That's cool.

The same goes for me. FIRST influenced my soon-to-be mechanical engineering major but it didn't influence my college choice. I can't wait though to go to the University of Michigan. :ahh: GO BLUE!
