That's absolutely stunning. Congratulations to 503, 451 and 1139 on pulling that incredible win out of the bag (although their win in the semis was rather impressive too) with their amazing driving and strategy.

Congrats to 503 & 451 and especially to 1139, Chamblee High, who I believe is the first Georgia team ever to win a divisional field championship at the Championship event.

We got back from lunch just in time to see that match on the screens in the pit...all I could do was stare and wonder. :ahh:

Yeah, that match was insane, I was doing the score keeping on the red center goal on Curie all weekend. That match, I thought my thumb was going to break from clicking the counter so many times. I don't remember exactly, but I want to say the final number of balls that went into the goal was 45.

There was also a match on Curie that had 19 balls in the center during auton :ahh:

I was acutally expecting the alliance of 222, 79, and 469 to go all the way but it was not to be and was very surprised when they lost in the semis...

It is, isn't it? 175 has had a very sucessful 11 years. Hopefully we will be able to continue that. We have been very lucky, I keep reminding my team of that. 3 straight years on Einstein is amazing. I think many of us had the feeling that it wasn't going to happen again. (The odds were against us) But I can't say I didn't have a wonderful time. Last year was awesome, this year was great for a whole different set of reasons.

I predicted on Friday (My team hates it when I do this) that we would end up being the first or second pick of one of the alliances 5-8. And we were. A huge thanks to 108 (two years in a row at Championships, although last year ended better, thanks for sitting with us) and 234 (you guys had a great robot, sorry that we couldn't find you to have you sit with us too, we looked but couldn't find you in the stands)

And of course, UTC got the founders award this year. (And my team did go crazy for that one)

Congratulations to the winning alliance, 503, 451, and 1139.

Now that was painful! Congratulations to 469, 79, and 222. You guys were a great alliance! So many of the alliances on Curie field were great. As 503, 451, and 1139 proved, Curie was any alliance's game!
