Good Morning America
There MIGHT be a few FIRST teams from the NYC metro area featured on Good Morning America on the morning of Saturday, April 29th broadcast from Times Square. These will be teams who didn't make the trip to Championships this year, so have their robot to demonstrate. The final decision hasn't been made yet by the show. They are reviewing the teams volunteering.
Good Morning America will also have a correspondent at the Championship. |
Re: Good Morning America
Sweet, thanks for the heads up Mark.
Is it ok if we get your programmer wet on Thursday? ;) |

P.S. Just not while he's holding my laptop please. (memo to self: pack a towel for wayward teammates - but any good Hitchhiker should have one) |
Re: Good Morning America
I know gma was talking about recording our team at altanta but we still have not gotten the green light from them yet. We were told we would find out when we got there.

Re: Good Morning America
As far as I know, the Good Morning America is happening. Somewhere from 3-5 teams will be there, building a field in the studio or in Times Square (depending on weather), and showing off their robots. My team has been working hard to fix up the robot from regionals to attend. Be sure to tune in everyone!
I'm curious as to what other teams will be there... anyone know? |

Re: Good Morning America
everyone on my team will be in Atlanta, but I love to see promotions like this. Anyone able to record it? I'm thinking it would be against the law to host the video on a private website.

Re: Good Morning America
I was thinking FIRST could host the video during opening sermonizes on SAT.

I was given the word that Sat. 4/29 is canceled until Sat. 5/6.
Stay tune..... :) BTW- if the new GMA date is 5/6, I expect all the FIRST teams from the tri-state area to be in Time Square dressed in there favorite team-T and cheering like crazy for FIRST !!! |
