Re: team forum???
the team forum is a meeting run by each individual regional committee. It is an opportunity for mentors and team members to speak their minds about how things went during the year. All the info at these meetings get sent to FIRST and acts as a review for the year. I highly encourage teams to take part in these events as they help to make FIRST better year after year.

Re: team forum???
This is a great opportunity for teams to interact directly with planning committees, and suggest ways to improve our regional events.
The 2006 STL Regional Team Forum will be on a mid-May date, similar to those in other regionals. The exact date should be selected soon, based on preferences expressed by teams via email. |
Re: team forum???
The team forums are a structured, facilitated way to get feedback to FIRST and to the Regional Committees. There will be a common agenda and a timed schedule. The forums are open to local team mentors (not students). Local forums set the numbers allowed.

Re: team forum???
It's unfortunate that FLR isn't doing a forum.
I felt it took a step back this year and I would at least like to know what they are going to do to rebound for next season. |

I received the information about the team forum from FIRST 3 days before the dead line in which we needed to have a place to have it and the names of people who would be attending needed to be sent back to FIRST. I/We the FLRPC are always open to suggestions on how to make the event better. In fact we are open to anyone willing to help make it better. I am very disappointed in the FIRST community in Rochester that I had to find out this is on this site and no one came to any member of the planning committee first.
