Seniors - What Are Your Plans?
Now that the 2006 season is officially over, there are plenty of seniors out there about ready to graduate. What do you guys and girls plan to do now? College? Work? Continue with FIRST, take a break, or give it up? Post it even if it's unrelated to FIRST - it's interesting to see what people are planning to do.

Re: Seniors - What Are Your Plans?
Going to VA Tech in the fall for Electrical Engineering! I would love to continue with FIRST and was overjoyed to see the VA Tech sponsored team, 401, in Atlanta. In the future I would love to stay active and volunteer at a regional or off-season event. But for now, I'm winding down my senior year and getting ready for college!

Re: Seniors - What Are Your Plans?
I will be attending Northeastern in the fall. My major is engineering (undecided). If all goes well, I will try to become a mentor on team 125

Re: Seniors - What Are Your Plans?
I will be attending Penn State (University Park) in the fall for a BS in Chemistry. Unfortunately, there are no teams out in State College, PA.

Re: Seniors - What Are Your Plans?
I'm attending Kettering University in B-Section. Meaning that I work for my co-op for three months starting in July then take classes for 11 weeks, and then work again starting in January. I'm trying for a co-op with GM. If I get the GM co-op, I'll be a mentor of team 67, if I don't get the GM co-op, I'll probably just volunteer at the competitions. (woo, reffing!)

Re: Seniors - What Are Your Plans?
I will be attending Northeastern University as an Electrical Engineering major. I won the full-tuition FIRST scholarship there, so I will be on 125.

Re: Seniors - What Are Your Plans?
Many college decisions can be found here:
http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=46538 I'll be attending either Northwestern University or Cornell University due to a complicatsed situation that will sort itself out after May 1st. Currnetly my deposit is into NU, because they had good financial aid. Cornell said they'd send one in May...so I'll know after that. |
Re: Seniors - What Are Your Plans?
I'll be going to MIT and plan to go into EECS. I plan on working with team 97. I think it'll be easiest to be a mentor my freshman year so we'll see what I do afterwards.
For now, I'm helping with the offseason we are holding (see signature!). As far as work goes, I might get an internship this summer and I'll be trying to get a job on campus (their min wage is higher). Hopefully, by next summer, I will have a nice internship set up for me =). |
Re: Seniors - What Are Your Plans?
I'm going to RIT and will try to see if I can volunteer at FLR, but I have the energy to MC there too if I can get the chance. Probly not, but it's a dream!

Re: Seniors - What Are Your Plans?
I plan on going to Indonesia over the summer, then coming home to pack all my bags and move to Indiana. I'll be going to Purdue University to be a Boilermaker! (Choo! Choo!)
Cold Weather, Here I come!!! ;) |
