TEAM 236!!! TECHNO-TICKS!!!

In a competition with so many nice people, these are some of the nicest people I have ever met!!!!

And they have an awesome team. We are hoping to be at "Bash at the Beach" this year.

612 (oh wait, I'll be on 116 and 612 next year  )

Some other teams that would be cool to work with are 25, 122, 217, 222, 330, 357, 1002, 1114, 1139, and 1731. These teams have always been a blast to work with at regionals and off-seasons. Especially 222, we've had some awesome matches both with and against eachother the last couple years at York Summer Frenzy.

Sean, you are welcome on 612, and I would love to be part of 116 too (who don't want to share crispy cremes with Dave Lavery).
Others team would be 71......gotta love their machine
341, like the way they operate
111, Love the way they interact with their community..

bottom line is that every team has something special about themselves, and if possible i would love to visit each and everyone of them.

Although i might be mentoring 9 teams next tear... :ahh: ..... :D

Do you think you guys could work through your SCHOOLS and do a FIRST Exchange Student Program?

In other words, for SIX weeks, be an exchange student on another team, so you can learn from another team, (how the build season goes, etc). Of course, you would have to be an exchange student in the school system, and find a host family while you are on the other team...

Do you think anyone (schools) would go for this idea?

That sounds like a GREAT idea to me...I'd volunteer to either be an exchange student or to host someone, that'd be a lot of fun and a great learning experience. It'd be even better if they stayed for the competition season as well, in my opinion. If they helped build the robot, they'd probably want to compete with it, don't you think?

Anyone with some influence want to think about the logistics and/or try to organize something? ;)

That would rock. Anyone want to spend six weeks in a nice CA area? All you have to do is help out 973...

Personally I think it would be a great idea. Teams would get to know other teams alot better and iner-team friendships could be formed. We might accually have a 3DSMax person who knows what they're doing/accually isn't too lazy to bother making one to turn in...

Atascadero High has a big exchange student thing going, I belive we have 12 or 13 from other country's this year alone. The german exchange student was a great help to our team.

If anyone sets this up, be sure to tell us as we might be able to accually pull it off over here.

Edit- back on topic, I would like to vist MOE, 100, 114 or 254. I think it would be cool.

I was wondering when a thread like this would come up.
At least it gets to the point.

Re: What team would you like to be on?

I'll stay where i am. A team is what it's members make it, and we built ours from the ground up.

Of course it would be pretty cool to be on a well funded and well equipped team.
