Re: What team would you like to be on?
I'm proud to be on 547, but if I had to be on another team for a season, I'd probably pick HOT team. I've always been impressed with their robots, but after watching that video at Nationals I'm impressed with them as a team as well.
Who's hot? |
Re: What team would you like to be on?
Team 20, because they had the best robot.
Mabey rage. They are nice. |

Otherwise, 229, 365, 25, 111 and many others have always been teams I've looked up to, but also all of the local CT teams like 173, 176, 195, 237, and 1124 would make for interesting seasons to be with. |
Re: What team would you like to be on?
i'm agreeing with my teammate kelli 71 would be the next team i would join all the way they look like they have a ton of fun.

Re: What team would you like to be on?
My list of teams!
1712 84 433 222 1689 1089 365 56 203 |
Re: What team would you like to be on?
I think that it would be a totally different experience joining a rookie team and trying to get that started. There are a lot of established teams out there that do a great job, but I don't think it would be as much fun as trying to get the support to start a whole new team.

Re: What team would you like to be on?
My list is almost endless but my shortened list is :
20 33 45 65 71 111 121 191 217 But I think if I could do a FIRST student Exchange, I'd go for team 148 next year. |
Re: What team would you like to be on?
I think I'm where I need to be now, and I wouldn't want to change for the world, but this seems like too fun of question to pass up.
I'd like to be part of a really big team and see how everyone stays involved and motivated. Like 67, 494, etc. It might be nice to be on one of those high spirited teams like 217, 461, or MOE. Working with Al and others on 111 or Andy and crew on 45 would be great. How about 27, 47, or 71: strong teams where the kids seem to have the greatest learning experiences? Geographically, 1164 or 857 would be great. I like the pictures of Rick's team working outside in February. Since it's been 25 years since I've spent a winter in Houghton, it seems more nostalgic than frightening :) . It would be neat to be on a strong team with incredibly beautiful robots like 1501 and 65. For too many reasons to list: 33, 108, 191, 503 I think if I had to pick only one, I think I'd like to help the future team at Fruitport get started. Actually if it were humanly possible I'd like to get to know all the teams, because I think I could help and learn from each of them. |
Re: What team would you like to be on?
If I had no other choice I'd be on Team #2000 since I'd love to start the 2000th team in FRC and ring in a new milestone.

Personally, I'm happy where I am.

Re: What team would you like to be on?
I would like to work with a team from each of the three tiers of FIRST: The elites, the middlers, and the underfunded.
Every team wants to be elite. My team is best described as a middle of the road team. We have just enough cash flow from sponsors to keep the team going strong, but are still weak in many areas. Like others, we are trying to improve the quality of the team in hopes to be considered an Elite FIRST team some day. Hopefully our performance this year will jump start that transition. I would like to work with one of the "haves" such as 254 or 111, just to see how it is. Pumping out a high quality machine each year must do wonders for their students. I would also like to work with an inner city team. These teams usually are very under funded and lack engineering support. While it is great to inspire with great machines, sometimes individual attention and support can make the biggest difference. |
