lol this truely happened to me!!!


and i donno who said it, but the one about pitching a tent at the build site... I considered sleeping in a bed of duct tape (we had used and crumpled up) and staying there all night, telling stories to our robot. lol
:D

oh, and when you are inside your build site so much you forget you have 1+ feet of snow.. or what snow is....

... when your world history teacher reads the class an opinion editorial article and when it mentions Dean Kamen you excitedly turn to the 2 kids in your class on your robotics team and all exchange huge smiles. and you all have to refrain from jumping out of your seat and screaming "YES! FIRST DOMINATES ALL!!!" :D

...when your world history teacher is reading the class an opinion editorial about the economy and teacher salaries and youre not really paying attention but when the article mentions dean kamen, you excitedly look at the other 2 kids from the robotics team and exchange huge smiles. and youre so excited that you must refrain from jumping out of your seat and screaming, "FIRST ROX UR SOX OFF! I LOVE DEAN KAMEN!!!" :D

-when you set your alarm to wake up at 4:30 so you can get into the shower before anyone else.
-when you hear the words woodie or flowers and think "gracious professionalism."
-when you are in math class, someone yells out a number and you wonder where that team is from.

when ever you get a answer for math homework you wonder what their name is and were their from....

You told your new members about buttons, and they go i can keep them in ziplock sandwitch bag, you laugh and don't tell why...

when you carry a pair of pink safety glasses in your purse at all times and offer them to students who you feel need to be safe...haha

when all you do is talk about robo in comp sci

when you get to school and the first thing you realize is that you did none of your homework because you were on chief delphi all night

when i got caught working on fleece designs and sweatpant designs for our team in history class

when you text inside robo jokes to friends

when you go to school and want to wear pink tights underneath your skirt instead of the white ones (probs on the Robettes...katy?)

-your parents just assume you will be home around 10pm every night
-your diet for six weeks is pizza.
-you spend eight hours trying to find orbit balls
-you can't think of anything to do after build season because you are just so use to Robotics
