You start suffering from what I call "post-robot ship syndrome". Something that has consumed your life the past 6 weeks is gone, just like that, you worry about things like FedEx trucks spontaneously combusting, and (best case scenario) you're left for at least ~1.5 weeks with a mediocre stand-in [aka a practice bot] :]

When driving home from a competition at 11pm, you look up at the drivers GPS and you see the vision target.


A team member and I were in the back seat on our laptops, I glance up at our mentors GPS, it outlines the road in the same shade of pink...and all I saw was the vision target, for close to a minute.

-You hear a number, any number, and you look down to see a scouting sheet with their info.
-You feel naked without your safety goggles.
-You memorized the pit.

(note: 1 and 3 of those are scout/strategist specific)

When told that there is no meetings you don't know what to do with the free time but try and build a robot

then the day after shipping you finish your last class and think to yourself "O.K. I finished my last class of the day...(stand at locker for a few minutes) what do i have next... (1 min later)... o YEA i get to go home and have life"
