- you sit in english class strategizing the best robot design instead of some long-winded speech on Shakespeare
- you argue about the best performance of a robot at a regional the day you get back to school at lunch with your friends
- you chant red alliance-blue alliance back and forth in the middle of the cafeteria
- you text your friends every time a team you adore comes up as a time (i do that a lot at 2)
- your color schemes for every project you do is your team
- you incorporate FIRST into every class you have, including German and biology
- your notebook has your favorite teams on it and your "non-FIRST" friends ask you how you got the answer 365 from 111 and 842

When at work totals, change, and prices have team numbers in them and you think of their name. (I can come up with at least 1 in every customer, if I am watching closely. And during the 2008 Championships, I saw team numbers 1024, 1114, 330, 148, 233, and 968 five of which made it to Einstein)

When you see a friend from another team and your with a group of none FIRSTers and they lay the ground rules that if we say anything about robotics they are going home.

When I'm not working on a saturday my co-workers ask if I have a robotics competition or meeting.

... when others call you a nerd for posting on chief delphi, then you cleverly point out that they had to have been on cd to see the post (DANIELLE!)
... you visit cd more frequently after robotics is over for the year than during build season...
... when you know the season is never really over :D
... when your most prized possession is your chairmans award medal (even though you werent there to receive it... :(

When upon seeing that, you are flattered.

And your heart kinda leaps for joy at the sight of your team name.

When you decide that your team number has to be the best number ever, and you aren't sure if its cause its a nice looking/sounding number, or if its because its your team number.

Haha. I just realized I got my team number! :D
