Yes, well, it gets worse.

You give in to going to the mall to shop for clothes for yourself but only if you can stop at Home Depot and look at the chop saws on sale. However, before you get to the chop saws you notice all the really cool drills. You never get to the mall.

The first thing you notice about your friends' driveway is the FIRST logo they started in chalk.

You have friends who spend most of their time writing the FIRST logo on their driveway.

Opening up any school notebook, you find at least a dozen sketches of the FIRST logo you drew when the teacher was going off topic and you didn't need to take notes.

You start having withdrawal symptoms when you don't see your FIRST friends (151, it's been AGES!!!)

You plan your social life around FIRST offseasons (Can't have my birthday party the same weekend as IRI in case by some miracle I can make it down there!)

When you look at this thread and genuinely think "Wow, it has Buzz replies!!" (Team numbers and names get confused in my head...I've said there are MOE days in a year before...)

When you drive your mother nuts talking non-stop about a new drive train idea.

When you randomly have to go through your AIM buddylist and figure out which people belong to which team (and anyone not on a FIRST team who you haven't talked to in a long while gets deleted, but all FIRSTies stay on).

When you burn a CD for someone and resist putting the FIRST anthems on it, just as a joke.

When your English HSA test book is dotted with who-knows-how-many FIRST symbols.
