If you're serious, don't rewrite your college essay. You do need a well rounded application, but your essay should be focused on one thing. Robotics is a great thing to write about for college, especially if you have an inspirational story to tell :)

When you're up in the wee hours of the morning trying to get streaming video recorded so that Minnesota teams have another regional to watch on TBA.

when you keep going to different wal marts in your area hoping that maybe one of them will still have the moonrock game piece from the past season's game and finally when you dont find any you contemplate buying it online

when the award made and given to you by your advisors is on a pedestal in the middle of your room and is made out of pieces from your practice robot and is barely held together with zip ties... that the advisors forgot to cut

i miss FIRST =(

When you spend your first competition in 150 lbs of chain mail, working 8 hours a day in the pits, all for the sake of just getting to be there.

-When the only reason you want a job is so you can pay for parts to prototype drive chains.

-When you think you didn't get a job because you mentioned robotics too many times in the interveiw.

"Name a time when you didn't work well in a team."
"Well, I'm this robotics team, and one time, they wanted this deisgn, and it would'nt've worked, and I had the hardest time convincing them why it wouldn't work."

That would make my day. Shame I can't go down to IRI this year.

Oh, and umm...I don't exactly think that men can reach any of those notes o.O They certainly sounded...interesting when some of our members sang along with it earlier today.

Very awesome, Nathan. I think that that is going to be our new team song :D Or maybe a secondary team song.
