When you think it is a terrible idea because then you can't wear all of the shirts you just collected :/

Don't joke, I have a friend who one year in Atlanta wore at one time 3 or more team shirts. She had on a 65 shirt, a 27 shirt and an 88 shirt. (that I know of)

when... okay, this'll be hard to "You know... when..." so I'm just going to tell a story.

So, I was having a bad week and my friends took me to a comedy-improv show to cheer me up. The comedy show does "shout outs" at the beginning on a large screen, with slides similar to "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLA!" or "Erin is getting married tomarrow!".

Let me start out to say that all the friends there were from the [robotics] team and a mentor even came. Before the match, a guy working there was talking to us, and we somehow ended up teaching him the "OINK OINK-BOOM!" cheer. So when the show started, the last "shout out" was "And Katie is awesome!" (It was a bad week, like I said). After that slide, the next one was, "oink oink!" We all yelled "BOOM", and a few seconds later, the screen changed to "BOOM!".

So, You know you're overdosed on FIRST when you get a cheer on the screen before a comedy show.

That's EPIC! Man, I wish my team knew what "Oink Oink Boom" was all about...let's just say they're not very CD educated ;)

When you plan on making a quilt or blanket out of all the first related shirts you have collected...off corse once they dont fit ypu anymore though ;)

For one of our REX members, it was his first year with the team even though he was a junior. So when we got our medals (only bronze this year), he wore his in school for a few days. But he was very tall and intimidating, so no one asked him why he was still wearing the medal:yikes:

When you see a person wearing another team's shirt, and feel like a stalker afterward when you see them EVERYWHERE for the rest of the day.

(By the way, if you wore a 1519 shirt on August Second at MIT, taking the Artificial Intelligence class from 10-12, I'm not stalking you. Even though I was sitting in the back of the room, googling your team to see which events you went to.)(I had to revise that for maximum sketchiness...)


When your MOM gets annoyed at a person who was wearing a FIRST shirt. Not because the person doesn't do FIRST, because that person just got it at a yard sale and didn't know what FIRST was, and still wore the shirt.

Maybe it didn't fit any more? If it got wayyy too small, that could be an issue, but if the owner found the shirt too big, that's very easily remedied with a sewing machine.

I'm almost hoping that I can find someone selling a FIRST shirt. I kinda want one...

You spend more time checking your FIRST shirt for spots then you do for the rest of your laundry combined.
