-When you research to find out what robotics team you could join when you move out to college.
-When you line your walls, ceiling, and doors (not just in your room) with all the stuff you have collected throughout your years in FIRST. :p

When you find yourself in this situation:
New team member (a friend of yours that was finally convinced to join) is trying to convince two other friends to join next year and another friend, a nonFIRSTer, complains that she isn't going to have any friends left who aren't in robotics (which is quite literally the truth)

:D Well, I was sitting with rage during the finals (I couldn't find a seat during the end of qualifications, and i was sitting with 20 on Friday) so that could definitely be true. I was sitting near the top of the Rage section I think because one of the 181 drivers ended up next to me during the awards ceremony.

Small world indeed.

Okay, starting off by saying I love this thread...

When you have over 200 inside jokes with a single person/group that involve tools.
Everything reminds you of FIRST.
You can't help but dance MOE style when the Six Flags commercial comes on.
You don't mind that everyone is staring at you when you do so.
You're terrified that high school is going by too fast, because you'll miss FRC so much.
You've ever called your mentors "Mom" or "Dad" and honestly thought they were your parents.
You find yourself worshipping a technohippie in a tux and Converse.
You knew exactly who I'm talking about immediately.
You tell everyone about FIRST, whether they're interested or not.

IN physics you are working with coefficients of friction and the #1511 comes up. It was simply unbelievable how that robot pushed. sigh. lol
