When you get mad because your ThunderChickens lanyard for your keys, "Sticks out too much for dress code". So I now have to keep them entirely in my pocket. :o

when despite this, you're still busy hyper-analyzing and speculating on everything he posts that could possibly relate to next years game a full two months before kickoff

Hahaha My whole class did this to a new history teacher who had no idea that we even had a robotics team!

... you go home looking to buy a lathe and mill when your going off to college in less than a year.
... your homework consists of finding cool things to make in the shop.
... you begin scouting for an event before the game is even announced.
... you apply for a college because they have an FRC team. (Not solely because of that, but you understand what I mean!)

You look at the trailers of every lawn mowing service, to see if maybe it's one from an FRC team.

I do that. Nothing like a good trailer for robot travel!

When you think about customizing a horse trailer for robots. A lot...

When your robotics team is already starting for build season.

When you aren't sure how you are going to get all your FLL stuff done by FRC season.

When, after your robot has messed up for the 50th time in a row, you're muttering "I hate this! I'm going to quit right now and never come back," as you're walking back to the computer to fix the program again!

(one of those moments of severe dissapointment after many hours of hard work... I still love it!)

-When you still have 2 months until kick-off and your challenging yourself on old games encase they come into play next year.
-You want to play the Red vs Blue puma music out of the cart next year, along with hats for you and your friends that go with Red or Blue team
-Your becoming more and more like the Big Bang theory characters (Friday was meatloaf and Halo night) without robotics
-When you check Bill's Blog at least twice a day in hopes of a game hint (other then a tennis ball)

While I, personally, would prefer a horse in the trailer to a robot, I don't think much customizing is needed. Just leave the horse out; it would prefer not to ride in the trailer, anyway.

In my former workplace years ago, the bosses ordered a used computerized phototypesetting machine. It was about the size of a large desk, and rather heavy. It was specially shipped from Seattle to Hermosa Beach, CA, in--you guessed it--a horse trailer! One end of the machine had a long, curving gouge on it. I liked to think that it could have been damaged by a horse kicking it.

Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

Let's see,

-I'm the only member of my team who's active on Chief Delphi
-I've been distracted in class dreaming about Build Season
-I decided to try to write a blog about my First Experienced
-I got over my head in trying to start a FRC podcast

and oh yeah, I've about Driven my Team crazy with keeping them informed about Bill's Blog (Scoundrels, they should all be reading it themselves;) )
