-When you consider failing your senior year to stay in First.
-When you can tell somebody about the robots your team has built since 2001.
-When you see years past robots that are taken apart and laying in 17 different places and it brings tears to your eyes.
-when you spend weekends teaching your parents dances to songs they play at regionals.
-when you forget that other humans exist outside of the robotics lab.

My personality just changes as soon as it gets close to robot season. I get all serious. I look like I am in deep thought all the time. I don't mess around like I do in football season, robot is serious business.

When you spent your weekend helping run an FLL competition and are REALLY tired, but you can't wait for build season.

When you learn a lot about Denmark because their Ambassador came to the said FLL competition.

When your dreaming about next years game - with some nights being good with an awesome game - and other times waking up with a nightmare cause the game was absolutely horrible.

This is actually what we're doing right now, except the mentors just tweak an old game and we spend three days doing our first three days of build season. Right now we're doing Triple Play with 4 foot wide ball pits dividing the field (ala Breakaway)

When you see your team's number in your family's dinner reciept and then when you go to that restaurant again you make everyone get the same thing so 32.29 will be at the bottom again :)

When you find a map on Google that shows where most of the teams are and add your team to it. :D

When you wish that map had every robotics team in the world.

When you spend 45 minutes of each of your 4 class periods on CD.

When you make every popular song have something to do with robotics (Cybersonic to the song supersonic)

When you have an affair with the lathe and the mill.

When you finish your engineering design car early so you can spend more time on your off-season prototypes.
