When driving home from a competition you think the lights on the back of a semi are a red alliance bumper.

When you ask your mom for Thunder Chicken nuggets.

When someone asks what you did during the weekend and the response is always robotics-related.

You sort your family's laundry into white, dark, and robot.

You're a college student learning polka in social dance class, and the instructor puts on the Cotton Eye Joe, and you get really excited thinking about volunteering at competition next week.

You have dinner with a fellow overdosed FIRST college student and commiserate about the fact that you really want to be at the regional your old teams are at that weekend instead of studying for finals, and your friend (who has a car) says, "Let's go!" so you make the 2-hour drive up and surprise everyone (and then you proceed to volunteer!) :)

I had to go to school on Thursday and Friday of the Seattle Regional because I'll only be in school eight days in April, so my 6th period teacher let me out of class two minutes early on Friday because I was distracting everyone by bouncing up and down.

When, for the aforementioned prom, you ask your girlfriend, who happens to be in Robotics, at a regional, on the field, and she says that getting asked in that method is the absolute best way for anyone to ask her to Prom, ever. :)

I was watching the hunger games and during the part when the children get called to the reaping there's a whistle that blows to let people know its time to go. First thing i thought was "End game, head for the bridge!".
