When just the announcement of new products from suppliers like AndyMark, VexPro and WCP makes you start designing new systems for the coming season, even when the coming season hasn't even been announced yet.

When teachers just think you are living in the school.

When you store a two month supply of food for the build season in your locker.

When you come home at ten from working on the robot and instead of starting your homework your on Chief Delphi

When your in pre-season and you are just waiting for a game hint, but mostly Kickoff to come already.

when you don't remember the last time you left the lab before 10pm
when you call the lab your home
when you refer to your adviser as dad
when you know more about your robotics family then your real family
when you are willing to sleep on a table to take a nap, just so you don't have to leave the lab
when you sleep in the back of a truck at 4am just so you can back in the school when it opens at 6am

When the coaches tell you to back off the build and let the students do the work. It's at that moment you realize you are now an FRC Alumnus :o

NOTE: I say this because this is how a Team 178 season operates. Yes adults do still have input and are available in a pinch, but it's our students that put forth the effort for everything. A reason I keep coming back is to see what they do next.
