I have kept a tiny multimeter in my brief case for many years, and another in the toolbag in the car. When people ask why I keep a multimeter in my brief case, my stock answer is "because I don't need it often enough to justify keeping it in my pocket". At FRC events, it's usually in an old cell phone case on the left side of my belt. It even came in handy at the FLL tournament at Fountainbleu a couple of years ago when an electrical outlet serving a snack machine began releasing magic smoke. |
