...you don't even care that you have to wake up earlier than you would for school to go to an offseason event during the middle of your 2 week fall break.

I got genuinely disappointed with myself yesterday because I showed up 20 minutes early to a meeting. That's the latest I've ever arrived.

You prioritize Chief Delphi and TBA over 90% of your school assignments.

When you mold your "bed time" (Doesn't exist in build season) around surfing chief delphi and looking at old scouting data.

When you realize it's apparently not normal to have two screwdrivers, and a USB SD card reader constantly in your backpack.

When you clean your room and discover five pairs of missing safety glasses.

Nope. Should be one screwdriver and one 7/16" nut driver. :D

This is ridiculously true. Every time I find a pair, I hang them on a tack on my bulletin board.

Every day, I have a flashlight (3@AAA), magnifying glass, swiss army knife (with corkscrew and saw blade), Slip'n'snip scissors, 10' tape measure, reversible phillips/flat head screw driver, lint free cloth in a pill bottle (for glasses, magnifier, or optical disks), and a comb in my left pocket; they're all on my morning checklist along with wallet, keys, and cell phone. I have to dump my pockets before I fly, go to court, or enter a psych ward.

I have kept a tiny multimeter in my brief case for many years, and another in the toolbag in the car. When people ask why I keep a multimeter in my brief case, my stock answer is "because I don't need it often enough to justify keeping it in my pocket". At FRC events, it's usually in an old cell phone case on the left side of my belt. It even came in handy at the FLL tournament at Fountainbleu a couple of years ago when an electrical outlet serving a snack machine began releasing magic smoke.
