When you have more FIRST contacts than any other contacts in your phone.

When your parents come to your teams' fundraisers and competitions even though you are now mentoring teams rather than competing.

When you go to the world championship to work scholarship row as a college recruiter and your parents tell you they missed going and want to go with you next year even though you personally aren't competing anymore.

When you have successfully addicted your family to FIRST too and they no longer ask you to come home on weekends from November - April because they know you are going to be at robotics (FLL & FRC).

Everytime you see an address or a time on a clock you try and think of what robotics team it is.

P.S. I saw 191 as an address today, the street across from mine has 461 as an address, and i just happen to look at the clock when it's 11:14 at least once, if not twice, every day

~Watching TV and a commercial comes and the number you see at the bottom is a robotics team number.
~When you go to the store and you see numbers you think of teams. (.79=KRUNCH!!)
~Text messages are getting full and the number is 233 (Pink)
~When you text people on other teams all the time!
~When you have 4 pairs of safety glasses in your room.
~When you have tubes and make skirts out of them!

I can think of more but then it gets pretty crazy!!

You fall asleep in study hall the day after you get back from championships and all you dream about is that one match that you needed a blue tube to complete a logo, but the human players weren't paying attention, so you're having a flash back of yourself standing at the drivers station yelling, "BLUE TUBE, BLUE TUBE" in your head while your sleeping, and a buddy then wake's you up and you scream at the top of your lungs, "THROW A BLUE TUBE!!!". And everyone stares at you awkwardly except for the one kid in the room who's on the team who COMPLETELY understands.

Tonight, I became friends on Facebook with a member of another Oregon team with which I went to CMP with this year. Ever eager to see another robotics person's quotes, I looked and beheld: 'Why do people gotta have a life outside of robotics?' He said he saw it on CD :)

• You have two kids from your team post before you, and do the exact same things as both of them.
• Your idea of spending your summer is researching drive bases
• You draw sketches of Swerve drive modules in extra time
• You watched the i.am.FIRST special on ABC. You then proceeded to watch it twice since then.
• You have the finals matches your teams were in on your iPod
• You're waiting for FRC Ice Cream bars, with your favorite teams' robots on them (Tell me that isn't a good idea!)
• You spent 30 minutes replacing the first half of "Like a G6" lyrics with robotics stuff
• When you get hit in the face with a flaming marshmallow, you're more concerned about the marshmallow that got on your team shirt
• You graduated and have no idea what to do with your life now =/

when you're using you're fake iPad that's actually a notebook of paper (given to you by your Xerox mentor) for taking notes at colleges, and you see the scouting notes you took down at IRI and spend awhile going through it and going "i remember that match..."
