You know your overdosed on FIRST when you see your team number as the amount of people currently on a forum and it makes you smile (that just happened to me).

675 members wore their shirts and medals (or most of us did, anyways, who went to Davis), but everybody knew what it was for. That's what you get for going to a school with about 250 students and no other sports teams. =D

You know you're overdosed on FIRST when you want a copy of the last 5 years' rulebooks so that you have some "light reading" on your flight to Atlanta.

How many members does your team have?

You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

you can still feel the safety glasses on your nose after the third day being home.

I thought that was normal?

When you are stuck with 7 hours of make up work in one night due to competitions...

It broke me.

I can relate to ALL of those. I remember just a couple weeks back seeing the cars on those platforms at a car dealership and thinking it would be impossible for the car to get up. I still dont understand that... And my entire team wore our medals to school the following sunday. (though I bet every team does that)

Haha, glad to hear. All of those are true for me.:D

About 60, total. So, about a quarter of the school.

I've had to do that. Not fun.

You know you're overdosed on FIRST when the first you think of spending 2.1k$ on is parts for a robot. :D

Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

when everything you unpack from your suitcase has something to do with robotics or has your teams number or name on it

when you go home and tell everyone on myspace how good you did and they have no clue what you are talking about

when you hear "red alliance chant" in the back of your head at random moments

when you hear "we are the champions" you recall a robotic competition

when you see tubes in the pool you think about this years game

........all i can think of for now............

You know that you have overdosed on FIRST:

When somehow almost every food reminds you the game.
Donuts anyone?

When you spend the whole bus ride home making up rhymes about the competition.

when your working at a local fast food resturant and the customer's total come out to be 11.14 cents and all you can think of it "man that'd be a good FF pick"

Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

When you segway topics really randomly and then one of your teammates says "That was the best segway ever, better than if Dean Kamen rode in on it himself".

you know you are overdosed on first when you are trying to get the robots out of your head, but the only thing to replace them is spiked hair and segways.
you still have the bracelet on from the team social, and you really want someone to invent RoboRiddlen so that your robot can focus on the light long enough to go. your "rival" school gives you a ride to competition, and since both teams have FIRST in common, there is no fighting, and you cheer like crazy when they win a sportsmanship award.

Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

... When the first thing you do when you wake up is: Check Chief Delphi.
... When the last thing before you sleep is: Check Chief Delphi.
... When almost every number out there makes a FIRST team come to mind instantly.
... When you start saying team names instead of numbers.

You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

someone gets 3/16 for the answer on a math problem and everyone in the class that's on the team starts cracking up.
