I just got an email with the subject line "Your ARM is going to readjust soon", and I'm wondering why the shop is telling me now about this, after Atlanta is over, and why they are emailing me this information. (It was a spam about Adjustable Rate Mortgages.)

When you see numbers and take on an emcee, announcing voice stating the team number and their name, very dramatically, driving everyone around you insane and catching strange looks from passersby.:p

when your at the airport to go back home, you walk through the metal detector with all your pins on, it goes off and you look at your friends like "I'm not wearing any metal". What is going on? (i did that :( )

...everyone you encounter at work knows your face because they saw a picture of you with spiked purple hair posted in some newsletter...

...at work, people stop to talk to you more about your picture slideshow screensaver of the robot competitions more than they talk to you about your work...

...you buy a VEX kit and parts with all the spare change you have lying around (being young and single has benefits ;) ) just so you can invent new creative ways that push the envelope in your quests to terrorize your roomate's 80lb dog (4 motors, 1:14 gear ratio pulling the dog around as he sat on a rug, then was able to switch gears to a 5:3 and chase him around)...

...now the dog now realises you're trying to throw the ball to play fetch, not to throw it AT him, so maybe sometimes he brings it back to the robot instead of you...

...you hear a really cool song on XM and record it just so you can go back later and figure out how to do a team wrap-up or recruitment video with it and pictures/videos of this season...

...then you later talk with your boss about said video and he wonders if you're staying focused at work (doh!)...
