When you go to send in your laptop for repairs but 20 minutes later make a mad dash back to the store because you forgot that you have very important graphics files on there, telling the people at the store in detail why you need it back, and figure its only cosmetic damage anyways.

A bunch of my team is in my guild so guild chat often became robotics chat. That or we go afk in AV while we discuss gearbox design on vent. :P

...you tell the new freshmen all the time and energy you put into FIRST and see the excitement, fun, and the mild look of horror in their eyes :).

This is more a "you know you're a nerd if..." but i haven't seen a thread for something like that.

...when you get end up in the hospital because of an infection and the first thing you ask the nurse before going into surgery is "there's wireless that i can connect my laptop to right?" for the sake of staying connected to CD, etc.

...when there isn't and after the weeklong hospital stay you are finally home and have read as much as possible and now plan to sleep for two days straight. :yikes:
