-You and your friend wear the following to school on the Monday after the regoinal:
Team shirt
Medal (from comp...<3)
All swag that you own, including bandanas and pins
Imagery compliant gloves that you stitched yourself

and when people call you crazy...
"If it wasn't crazy, it wouldn't be robotics!" is your response

-Your science teacher asks you how you did at the regoinal, so you spend 10 minutes of class answering questions about the team/the regoinal/the bot/the big shiny medal on your chest
-You convince your non-robotics friend to feature the team in a powerpoint that your civics class is sending to Algeria

...When your first day of Spring break (after coming home with the gold in Chesapeake) is spent getting back all the sleep you lost over the weekend scouting and cheering.

A new one...You know you have gotten your parents addicted to FIRST when they bring home a cake in the shape of a robot!:yikes: -my friend's parents.

...even if you are at the regional, you watch it on SOAP Gameday.
...you don't lose The Game. Everyone wins so long as they have a good time and learn from their experiences at the Regional.

You discuss making a bedframe out of 80/20 so that you can slide around your room and never have to get out of bed.

This discussion took place at a robotics meeting at some time during the night in the last week of build season.

--you read chief delphi treads at lunch, and laugh because you get every joke, but your friends read the same page and look confused
--you wore a thunderchickens button for st. patricks day because you didn't have anyother green.
--you have talked to a complete stranger about rivets vs screws for more then 3hrs
--your robot collides with a wall during hybrid and you laugh because everything ' was ' working
--you have tasted locktight and find it is quite good
--you understand the importance of magical white smoke in electrical technology
--you have scars from that arm
--you have ever talked to a bolt for more then 30 seconds
--you start conversation with complete strangers with topics like(look at them from the outside of first); randomizer programming, magentic gyroscopes, cracking 128bit encyptions, g22's, weight of timing belts, whose bumpers are bigger, big blue/red balls.
--you don't sleep starting tuesday
