When everytime you see a person wearing a zebra striped shirt, you feel he is important, and are bit afraid to go backwards or touch anybody out of the shoe-zone.

When you see a black-white squares flag you don't thing about NasCar/Formula 1, but about OverDrive, even if it is a commercial on a national newspaper.

You are upset and even angry at anyone who doesn't dig FIRST .


Your girlfriend is a FIRSTer, your 2 best friends are FIRSTers, you realize most of your friends on facebook are FIRSTers, and the biggest group on your MSN contact list is named "Co-workers (FIRST)", and it is by far the biggest one.

When you turn on your mobile phone and the welcome message that appears on the screen says "another 11 months until 2009 regional".

When you follow your teammates posts on CD.

When you ask yourself how come there is no such equivalent to "CLASSMATES.COM" as "FIRSTers.COM".

And finally when on all the computers in your school,the screen savers are texts like "No Atlanta !" or "At least there is Bombamela"...

When you are on your band trip watching a 3D movie for the first time ever called DeepSea 3D and your only thought is, "when are we going to have a water game".

...when your non-robotics friend steals said phone and tells you robotics is "gay" and that you have no life.
...When you agree with that friend.
...When your friend asks you if you can make him a robot to pick up his room, and you say yes and start explaining what you could do for him.

When you are watching a hockey game, and a player gets checked into the glass, and you say to yourself, "wait he can't do that, it's impeeding...oh wait never mind it's not robotics." - and yes this really happend. lol It was funny.

your already prepping for the 2009 kickoff, working on the 2009 CA presentation, and ready to sign up for 3 regionals and CMP.

...Even after full year after no tubes... when ever someone says "spoiler" the only thing that comes to mind is black tube skirts...

...you've already planned a whole day robotics meeting for the last day of school, robots roaming the halls and all...

... You hear someone say thunderchickens and spaz because you think they're talking about the team (they were making fun of a high school)
... You see a basketball warm-up shirt that says "I'm a keeper" and the number is 07 and you freak out and run across the street to see if they have any relations to robotics (no they didn't)

...you see your team number in random places (say, a receipt, a sign, or a license plate) and you notice it. Better yet, you actively look for your team number in these places.

I still can't believe I check CD over 20 times a day. I'm going to count the number of times I check in the next next week (next wk = APs)! GOOD LUCK TO ALL THOSE TAKING APs!!!

When you pull into school and the spot number is 47, and the first thing you do is chant "fourty-seven...chief delphi" out loud in your car. lol

When before the meeting you and a friend had gone to Starbucks and on the way back you (or me the driver) looks over at an address and sees 198 and thinks..."if there was a three after that..." When you see there is a three you let out a shriek of joy, immediately turn the car around and get your friend to bolt out, take a picture, and still show up in time for the meeting.

when you are sitting in math class and instead of remembering the formulas, all you notice are the numbers on your paper. 111, 397, 47, 141. instead of saying the answer, you say wildstang, knightriders, chief delphi and wobot (actually did this in class yesterday)
