No fair, you guys actually meet during the summer! on my team, i sometimes get to do corporate demos during the summer, but that's about it...

i've done something similay, but it was a bit more far feched...

on my adv. Geo-Trig final i used a few senarios from robotics to show i knew how to solve some problems, even though i was at a total loss without my calculator... evil teacher banned calculators on a geo-trig final...

but i still aced the test, after supplementing about 20 of the problems with robotics problems... (trackball trajectory using sine waves for a coupple of them)

Yea we meet once a week. mostly its just experimenting with stuff but we do some fundraising planning and community events too. (driving the robot at relay for life) i live for those meetings though!!!

You've been so busy with other robot stuff that it didn't actually click that you were going to IRI until you saw a post saying, teams are leaving FOR IRI.

You've managed to make the past 3 weeks a never ending robotics meeting at your house. (ok we got maybe 5 scattered days off)

You have loads of things to do before you leave for IRI and you're sitting here writing about how you're overdosed on FIRST.

You spend the summer making a Motorized Driver's Seat (aka GoBot) out of the robot from two years ago. And it actually works. And you drive it around the school during Gear-Up for the incoming freshmen.
