You start swim practice and count by robot numbers... example-

1 2 3...14 15 Bomb Squad 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 (rest of the team stops)

(Robot people keep going) 26 Rush 28 29 30 31 32 Killer Bees! (yes we are planning to learn more below 25!)

When you read this post, and try to find additional numbers you recognize. (The Juggernauts (1) and Raider Robotix (25) are the only ones I was able to name off the top of my head, I'm out of shape.)

when your math teacher is demonstrating a math problem in class and as you notice the fact that the answer is your team number (68:yikes: ) and you have to stifle the urge to start cheering as loud as you can when you notice that people might think you are crazy
(as opposed to showing up to class with orange hair (as opposed to your normal brown hair) and constantly wearing your team paraphernalia.):cool:

You go shopping for a homecoming dress, and try a yellow one on--just for kicks. You end up buying it--not because it's yellow/image compliant, but because it actually DOES look good.

See, I WAS going to get black shoes to go with it, but my friend wouldn't let me :rolleyes:

I have a robo-friend with me at swim (cough cough renee).

We crack robotics jokes and no one gets it.

Now they just let us slide at the "robotics kids"

When your really sick and you sit outside in the heat for 5 hours to sell stuff for robotics....and you still say that you had some fun.

...To start the new robotics year, you bought three goldfish and named them Woodie, Dean and Dave.
...You read over the entire FTC rulebook, even though you don't partisipate in FTC.
...You visit CD during the summer.
...The freshman to the team get lessons on power tools, teamwork, the build process, and The Cha Cha Slide.
...Numbers represent memories rather than the teams.
...You think Woodie, Dean and Dave should form their own three-man FRC team for a year.
...You include "Wrap the freshman in tin foil" as an idea for the robot.
...You design a team logo, and than design that one team's logo, and than that other team's logo - all because its fun.
...In each and every Internship interview you have, it somehow turns to FIRST and all you want to talk about for the rest of the interview is FIRST.
