How did I do?
I'm in the running for Game Announcer at VCU next year. (The Play-by-Play guy).
I have been practicing Announcing the games this year, both at VCU and Nationals Archimedes Field on Practice day, Thursday. I was wondering how you guys thought I did, and perhaps some suggestions. (Constructive, please). To clarify, I'm Matthew... I was the only Announcer at VCU on practice day and I was the first Announcer on the Archimedes Field on Practice Day. Andrew joined me late in the day on Thursday and you heard from him a few times on the other days, but he was really field supervisor on Archimedes. If you're still not sure which one I am, please ask. Matthew |
Re: How did I do?
ah. i remember you. the guy with the texas hat (andy, i think.) called you by the wrong name.
you did very good. i didnt see all the practice matches, but noticed something was different from practice day to quals. |
Re: How did I do?
Yep, that was me. Andrew called me Mark... so I asked the crowd to wake him up.

Re: How did I do?
Wow Matt, I can't believe they let you do Archimedes this year.... I bet that was interesting. (Time for another "free for all!")

Re: How did I do?
Everyone should understand that this is a public poll and everyone will see how you voted.
Matthew -- is this really an appropriate topic for a public poll? Do you really need to know who voted for which answer? I can see it leading to hurt feelings and conflict where none is needed. JMO. |
Re: How did I do?
This was my first poll I'd made here, and I didn't realise the magnatude of that peticular chckbox until after posting. I just don't know if I can edit the poll. I'll check tho.

Re: How did I do?
Ok, I can't edit the poll as far as I can tell, so I ask the MODs to close this post for me. I will create it again without the "Open Poll" Checked.
